Cake Top Publishing, Inc. (CTP) was founded in 1997 by Dan Hall.

Dan’s experience as a professional cake decorator spans 15 years. During his cake decorating career Dan recognized the need for an automated cake illustrating process. He also realized that this new process would require far more than just a scan-to-print capability. In his effort to develop a computerized cake imaging solution, Dan incorporated all of the features, flexibility, and ease-of-use that professional
cake decorators require.
